sour

I chose to portray "sour" as an abstract. I have expressed my feelings/sensations of tasting something sour, that weird nice but shuddering affect if you dare to eat a lemon.

You captured it wonderfully with those electric-like lines and colors! I can almost feel it myself. :)

Interesting!
It really makes you think about the sour sensation!

it's like a mandala, and sort of what 'sour' does to your innards....goes round and round...i like it.

Looks like I have some of the taste sensations you do when I eat a lemon. I have exactly the same jagged flash bursts on mine as well. If memory serves don't they call this kind of thing synaesthesia, where senses become blurred and a taste stimulus equals a visual response...? You've captured this perfectly! The whole art therapy side of things sounds fascinating. Do you often take such an abstract/synaesthetic approach in your job I wonder...?

PS. So glad you recognised me from my thumbnail alone, and that you liked the pic too. Ta for the visit to the website and the feedback as well...many thanks!

This is a neat piece of visual jazz. I love the way you've captured that first rush when the sour taste hits your mouth.
