Well as you can see I got carried away this time around. Inspiration thanks to all you fellow bloggers. I looked through my work and realised I hadn't done any watercolour for IF for a little while. I couldn't stop drawing and then ended up with two pictures. I drew these in pencil first and then drew around with my black artliner. I then printed off onto watercolour paper my sketch and had fun colouring in with the paint. Watercolour is not my speciality, I find it a hard medium to put onto the paper. I was going to use inks but changed my mind, maybe next time.
Presently I am off work, returning in two weeks time. I am reflecting that I hope not to lose the space to enjoy my own free expression with my art.

That is so great that you have some good time off and you already started creating! Good for you!!! Love em both and I would never have guessed that you find watercolours hard to deal with, great work :)
ha ha!
These are very clever, and quite nicely done! What a good idea to sketch them first, then print them on WC paper to paint! I'll have to try that, as when I sketch on WC paper, I get it all smeary before I paint it, then I can't get that clean look your work has!
These are both adorable!
These are so much fun! I love the detail!
two delightful pieces!
Great illustrations! I love the colors, and both the concepts are wonderful!

Your pictures move. No, seriously, the sway around and make funny faces at me. I love them, they are so vivid. Many thanks.
